HOW TO CONSIGN

CONSIGNING WITH US IS SIMPLE: 

We accept pre-owned, quality high end home furnishings and décor. Furniture, mirrors, carpets, artwork, lamps, china, chandeliers, home décor and outdoor items. Vintage jewelry as well.

How to consign - 3 options for a preview of your items:

 

  1. Email photos to info@bostonconsigns.com or text (203)-394-8385. Include all details describing the piece(s) and your contact information.

  2. Call the shop to discuss an in-person appointment, especially if you have a large number of items. We can meet to discuss or come to your house.

  3. Stop by the store with your items. Please call ahead to be sure the right person is available.

When items sell, we split 50/50 of the sales price. We mail you a check within 2-4 weeks after sale date.

 

Pricing policy explained: 

Price is determined by you and Boston Consignment with consideration to condition, quality, brand, age, original price, style and buyer demand. The true value is set by demand. Priced too high, items do not sell. We price and display your items to sell quickly. If you have a target price, tell us and we will try our best to achieve that. 

 

Consignment period:

Items remain here at the agreed price for 3 months (the consignment period). After that time, without notice to consignor, items can be donated to charity or disposed of at our discretion. We are not responsible for items lost or stolen.
